Completely refurbished during the Winter 2004/05, the Hotel Simplon is surrounded by an age-old park, a few metres from the shore. It has always been very appreciated for relaxing stays and the possibility to regenerate oneself with long walks in the green. A 20.000 sq.m. park with centuries' old trees surrounds the hotel. Surrounded by the green frame of the park, in a sunny and quiet position, there is a swimming-pool for adults with a Jacuzzi corner and a smaller ones for children. The sports' facilities of the Hotel Simplon offer an outside pool, a small gym, a sauna, a tennis court and a mini football field. Near the hotel there are seven golf courses and a riding track, and it is possible to practise sailing, wind-surfing and water-skiing.
