7/13/11 Festival Umberto Giordano July 8th - 22nd 2011
The Music Festival Umberto Giordano was born on the centenary of the first performance of Fedora (1898) and the fiftieth anniversary of the composer's death (1948), who spent long periods of work and holiday in Baveno in his splendid Villa Fedora. Originally a festival dedicated to the musicians of the turn of the century, post-Verdian authors and their contemporary European and American, then the Festival has expanded its interest in all musical genres of the past century, poetry and other forms of art and entertainment.

Let's sing? No. .. let's improvise! - Not only "standards". A journey through the voice, a piano and a sax. A history of jazz and the melodies ... but not only. The titles will follow the voice that will guide the audience from one standard to another to create a sort of story that will tie all the songs.
