| From the 4 rooms with stables of the ‘Italia’ inn opened in 1873 by the great grandfather Francesco Zacchera, unravels the history of this family with a striking vocation in its own’s blood for hosting people. Vocation continued by the following generations, in spite of two world wars, with perseverance, far-sightedness and perspicacy, so that in only three generations it was possible to build that which is now one of the most important Hotel Groups in Italy and, no doubt, the most important on the Lake Maggiore.
